Yellow Bus Riders Now Have Access to Notification System

September 14, 2020

It's pouring down rain. Your child is standing at the bus stop and there's a good chance the school bus is running late. But how late?

Now students and parents can get up-to-date information about the expected arrival time of a yellow school bus through a web-based application called Versatrans My Stop.

Versatrans My Stop provides real-time information to parents about the estimated time of arrival, notification of a substitute bus driver and when an alternate vehicle will be picking up your child when the regular bus is out of service.

The app is free in the iPhone App Store or Google Play, but does require parents to register with account information, which was mailed to students' homes during the summer. If you need your child's account information, please contact the Transportation Department at (513) 363-RIDE.

There are many similar apps in the Apple and Google Play stores, so it is important that you download the correct one.

  1. Download the "Versatrans My Stop" app from the iPhone App Store or Google Play.
  2. Allow notifications from "Tyler Technologies LLC" (that's the app publisher.)
  3. Select "Cincinnati Public Schools" from the list of available school districts.
  4. Use the account information in student's letter to log in.

Both parents and students will use the same login information to access Versatrans My Stop. Parents and students do not have separate accounts. If parents have multiple children in the district attending different schools, there is a separate login for each child.
